Copyright status of the material

This digital edition presents manuscripts by Tove Jansson – and, where applicable, early printed works – in the form of transcriptions and facsimile images. The manuscripts are preserved in several archives, including those of the Åbo Akademi University Library, the Society of Swedish Literature in Finland, and Moomin Characters.

The Tove Jansson material made available through the service is protected by copyright and is published online by permission of Moomin Characters Oy Ltd (Moomin Characters) and the rights holders of Tove Jansson.

The rights holders reserve all rights to Tove Jansson’s works.

This digital edition is a scholarly publication produced by the Society of Swedish Literature in Finland (SLS).
